American Standardbred Adoption Program, Inc. was founded in 1994 by a small group of dedicated individuals and professionals who saw a need for a placement service for non-racing Standardbreds. This placement service honors and serves the people and horses within the harness racing industry around the country, with special emphasis on Standardbreds in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. The American Standardbred Adoption Program also serves as a rescue facility and sanctuary for abandoned, abused, or neglected horses of all breeds, and is listed by the Humane Society of the United States as a humane equine rescue organization. Horses of all other breeds are accepted into placement by ASAP, Inc.

Crosswinds is a small nonprofit 501c3 rescue in central Illinois dedicated to taking in at risk horses, rehabilitating and training them, and adopting them out to good homes where they will have normal lives. We adopt horses out all over the country with extensive reference checks and adoption application/contract.

We are a 501(c)3 non profit pending equine rescue located in Cherry Valley,
IL. We have been created for the purposes of equine welfare and public
education of equine care and neglect. We are dedicated to providing temporary
shelter, care, retraining, and rehabilitation to abandoned, abused, retired,
neglected, and otherwise at-risk equines. Some equines are able to be
placed in approved homes and those not placeable will remain in the care
of the rescue for the duration of their lifetime.
The Hooved Animal Humane Society (HAHS) is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1971 by six concerned and committed citizens. HAHS' mission is to promote the humane treatment of hooved animals through education, legislation, investigation and, if necessary, legal intervention (impoundment). In addition, we provide physical rehabilitation to animals that have endured severe neglect and abuse and adopt them to compassionate homes.

Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and find new homes for abused, neglected, unwanted and slaughter bound horses, ponies, and other equines. Longmont, CO 80503- Colorado based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
The Center is dedicated to providing a safe refuge and care for neglected or special need horses.We will provide the necessary care and recuperation for horses accepted by our Center and place them in safe, caring homes at the completion of their training. Lazy Maple Equine Rescue and Rehabilitation Center will accept donated horses on a space availability basis. We will attempt to place finished horses in therapeutic riding programs. Some horses will be placed in inspected, approved homes for an adoption fee if the horse is deemed not suitable for therapeutic riding use.

The Midwest Horse Welfare Foundation is dedicated to providing qualified homes for any horse in need. It is our goal to make certain that every horse placed in our care is provided with all the necessary ingredients for a safe and happy life, and that it is also protected from those who would do it harm. Each horse placed in our care will receive our full efforts to ensure that it never ends up in the auction ring or on the slaughterhouse floor. We promise to do our best to provide only the best homes with dedicated families for every animal we place.
