Performances Extended through November 14 - Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 PM, Sundays at 3:00 PM - Camp Nimrod for Girls
Relive your memories of canoes, pine trees and summer time crushes at Live Bait Theater's production of "Camp Nimrod for Girls", a coming-of-age musical comedy set in a girl’s horseback riding camp. Camp Nimrod is a cross between Grease and Equus and is an irreverent take on teenage girls and their infatuation with horses and teenage boys. Highlights include the imaginative horse heads worn by the actors and a crayfishing eating contest by the campers. Thirteen original songs and fun choreography (especially from the horses). "A whimsical, charming and lively show, perfect for the whole family," says Sara Burrows at the Lerner Papers. "Camp Nimrod will wow teenagers... conjures the world of summer camp...sweetly funny," says Hedy Weiss Chicago Sun-Times
